Unity of Austin

There are five basic Unity teachings written by cofounder Charles Fillmore:

1. There is One Presence and One Power in the universe: God the Good, Omnipotent.

2. There is divinity in every person we call the Christ.  We see this divinity expressed completely in Jesus the Christ.

3. We experience our divinity... our connection with the One Presence and One Power... through the mind, through thought.

4. We learn to use thought rightly through the tools of:
       Prayer / Meditation
       Denial / Affirmation.

5. We express our divinity through a "practical application of the teachings of Jesus the Christ in all aspects of daily living.

It seems simple doesn't it?  Perhaps that's why we call it "Practical Christianity."
